POKER IS BACK ON SUNDAYS!!!
The Mill, on Brynymor Road will be hosting PPL tournaments from this coming Sunday (5th July). Registration will open @7 for a 7.30pm start. As so many of you have been requesting a Sunday venue, let’s see you all turn out with friends and family. First prize is £25 to the winner as well as spot prizes for the opening night.
THE REGIONALS ARE UPON US!!!
As so many of you have been eagerly awaiting, the Regional Final date has been set and confirmed. Saturday 11th July will see the best players of the Summer season 2009 compete against each other for the title of Regional Champion. Current Regional Champion Gareth-Lee Smith is welcoming challengers for his title, so for those of you who wish to challenge him, registration will open at 1pm and will close at 1.30pm. For those of you who do not know where the regionals will be hosted, it will be hosted by the Mansel Working Men's Club, Gowerton. With a charity ethos, the regional’s are always a highlight of the season and see the best of the best competing.
THE MILL DEMOLISH OPOSITION!!!
Congratulations to The Mill team who dominated the PPL's first ever team event. Under the superb leadership of Matt Dibergamasco, they led from the end of phase one until the very end. The day itself generated a generous amount for charity and some superb teamwork. The combination of great poker and banter meant that the day was a huge success!
WE HAVE ENTERED THE GOWER!!!
The PPL is proud to announce that we have our first venue in the Gower. The North Gower Hotel will be hosting PPL tournaments from Wednesday 8th July. Registration will open at 7.30pm with the tournament starting at 8pm. With fantastic prizes, surroundings and expected banter, the North Gower Hotel promises to be an exceptional venue for you to play poker in.
THE MOUNTAIN DEW IS BACK!!!!
The PPL are pleased to announce that the Mountain Dew @ Mount Pleasant is back in operation. 1st prize is £25 and therefore is an exceptional reason to get on up there and play some poker. Registration is from 7.30pm every Wednesday. It will feature shortly on the forthcoming events page.
MONDAY NIGHT POKER RETURNS TO CRICKETERS
Primero are pleased to report that Monday night poker has officially returned to the Cricketers Pub, behind St. Helen's Ground in Swansea. Loads of poker, great people and some grub at half time await our players. We look forward to seeing you down there. Registration for the tournament will be @7.30pm with a first prize of £25.
